This job would suit someone with a trade background (mechanic, boiler maker, refrigeration service technician etc.) who is looking for a change, but experience is not necessarily needed if you are handy at fixing things, as full training is provided. Sales experience is also an advantage but not essential.
PuraAir Australia Pty Ltd is a growing small business which specializes in odour control and scenting solutions. We have been established for over 15 years and we service Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, the ACT and Brisbane/GoldCoast. We are currently seeking a full time highly motivated Service Technician in the Sydney metro areas to perform maintenance on our deodorizing systems in commercial, retail and residential buildings. The hours of work are from 8am till 4pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the total maintenance of all equipment on a scheduled basis to maintain optimum performance of equipment.
- Installation and removal of equipment from sites.
- Maintaining tools, workshop and vehicle.
- Maintaining stock take and appropriate stock levels.
- Carry out troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs.
- Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment.
- Ensure equipment and quality satisfaction is delivered in accordance with the customers' expectations.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and be willing to sell and promote our product.
You are:
- A highly motivated and fit, self-starter who is resilient, customer focused with a drive for getting the job done
- Loyal, honest and possessing integrity
- A team player as well as being able to work on own
- Well presented, an excellent communicator with customer service skills
- Willing to promote our product
- Organised, reliable and you take pride in your workmanship
- Able to work in commercial, retail and residential and hotel waste rooms, foyers and loading docks to service equipment
- Holding a current police check and WWC check or willing to get these
- Able to service and maintain equipment – test/fault find and repair experience (full or part trade qualifications or trade assistant in electrical or refrigeration is an advantage not but essential).
- Holding a Current Driver’s License – an experienced, confident driver with a good knowledge of Sydney and surrounding suburbs. You must enjoy driving and being out on the road.
- Currently living in the Sydney metro area as this is where the majority of our sites area
- Holding full residency and full working rights in Australia (overseas applicants need not apply)
