Our client is a leading global engineering consultancy who have been established in Sydney for the past 1.5 years. During that period, they have successfully broken into the Australian market, securing 3 large scale data centre projects with more in the the pipeline.

What your day looks like:

• Deliver expert Fire & Hydraulics design solutions tailored to the specific needs of data centre environments, optimizing for cooling, energy efficiency, and system reliability.
• Engage closely with clients to understand project goals and requirements, translating these into effective, tailored hydraulics/fire solutions and offering technical insights.
• Lead design presentations and technical reviews for clients, clearly communicating design choices, resolving queries, and aligning on project objectives.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams—including architects, engineers, and contractors—to ensure seamless integration of hydraulics/fire systems within overall project designs.
• Provide technical advisory services during installation and commissioning, supporting clients with expert guidance to ensure that hydraulics/fire systems are implemented as designed.

About you:

• 5+ years hydraulics engineering experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of fire & hydraulics design for data centre projects from concept stage onwards who can hit the ground running.
• Technically competent with strong client facing skills.
• Willingness to take ownership of projects.
• Ability to work autonomously.

• Remuneration based on skills and experience - up to $140k plus super.
