About the role A business-critical role with an industry-leading Media/Telecommunications organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. This role will commence as a long-term fixed-term contract initially however has the genuine opportunity to convert into a permanent role.

The responsibilities Reporting directly into the FP&A Manager, your main duties will include:

• Management reporting and profitability analysis, including being responsible for P&L down to Gross Margin
• Preparation and maintenance of management reports
• Variance analysis and commentary for a multitude of services/products/channels
• Revenue accounting and integrity, including monthly invoicing of services/products/channels
• Determination of revenue accruals
• Cost of Sales accounting and reconciliations
• Reconciliations of prepayments, amortisation and accruals
• Liaise with Pricing team to review monthly transactional data
• Liaise with IT support for core business system for specification of reports, delivery of reports, review and testing
• Assist with maintenance of 5-year Business planning model
• Assist with Business Plan / Budget preparation and re-forecasts for revenue & cost of sales
• Assist the wider finance team and other relevant stakeholders with ad-hoc projects when required.

The successful applicant Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have strong analytical and financial modelling skills, have a demonstrated ability to work both autonomously as well as colloboratively, and posess strong stakeholder management skills in a dynamics environment.
