We have an opportunity for a Machine Technician to join our client's team based in Ingleburn, Sydney. This is a permanent full-time position working, Monday to Friday on night shift (10pm-6.00am). Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of blow moulding machines to ensure the production of high-quality plastic products to meet our customer's requirements. Further to this your key responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate blow moulding machines according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting of equipment and report any foreseeable issues.
• Monitor, inspect and adjusting machine settings as required to optimise production efficiency, reduce waste and conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain and ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Skills and Competencies:

• High level of mechanical aptitude is essential, and a trade background is a bonus.
• Ability to work on our night shift (10pm to 6am).
• Quality control and defect analysis- You will have good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
• Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience operating a forklift and hold a current forklift licence is essential
