Are you an experienced housekeeping professional who takes pride in delivering the highest standard of cleanliness and guest experience? Chalets at Blackheath, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team.
About Us:
Set on 17 acres of pristine bushland adjacent to the Blue Mountains National Park, Chalets at Blackheath is a boutique, high-end resort offering a unique blend of luxury and nature. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality in a breathtaking environment.
The Role:
We are looking for a career housekeeper with extensive experience in luxury resorts or high-end hotels, who understands the importance of meticulous detail, presentation, and guest comfort. This role is ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys working within a small, supportive team, and is happy to assist in other areas of the resort when required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in our chalets and public spaces
• Ensure rooms are presented immaculately for each guest arrival
• Handle linen, laundry, and in-room amenities with precision and care
• Assist with outdoor cleanups and resort upkeep as needed (e.g., pathways, decks, outdoor areas)
• Occasionally assist Resort Ambassadors between 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM with guest luggage handling
• Identify and report any maintenance or guest requests promptly
• Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in housekeeping for high-end resorts or luxury hotels (essential)
• Meticulous attention to detail and pride in maintaining an immaculate environment
• A love for the outdoors – this role extends beyond indoor housekeeping to maintaining the natural beauty of our property
• A team player who enjoys working in a small, tight-knit team
• Strong time management and efficiency in completing tasks independently
• Physical fitness, as the role requires manual work
• Availability to work full-time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, five days a week, including weekends as required)
