About us:
The 30-bed interim care unit at Bolton Clarke Sunset Ridge Residential Aged Care Facility operates 24/7 and is designed for maintenance patients. It features two wings: Seahorse, which is a secure area, and Starfish, which is non-secure. The unit caters to individuals who no longer need acute hospital care but cannot return home, providing support for their transition to a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or to the community with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) assistance.
About the role:
Design, implement and evaluate a variety of recreational, diversional and social activities to improve or maintain the physical and mental function of the patients of Sunset Ridge Interim Care unit.
About you:
- While not mandatory, it is highly desirable that the applicant possess, or be working towards, one of the following qualifications:
- Advanced Certificate in Disability Studies
- Certificate IV in Health and Community Services (Diversional Therapy)
- Certificate IV in Community Services (Community Work)
- Certificate IV in Diversional Therapy
- Certificate IV in Community Services – Leisure and Lifestyle
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Trade level equivalent qualifications
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $93,539 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $34.53 - $36.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
