About The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our team at the Sunshine Coast. This is a front-facing hands-on role with a primary focus on overseeing the safe and compliant delivery of traffic management services.

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the running of the depot and management of on road and office staff, delivery of infield services to client and legislated requirements, and oversight of the management of fleet, equipment, and traffic control stock. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for the direct supervision of traffic controllers in addition to assisting with a wide range of strategic safety and operational objectives including:

  • Safety performance
  • Training
  • Injury management
  • Incident investigation
  • Fleet and equipment management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the safe and compliant delivery of traffic management services
  • Consult with clients (existing and protentional) & assist with business development
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to traffic controllers in relation to safe work practices that align with company policies and procedures, legislative obligations and industry best practice
  • Management of the field (Traffic Controllers and Site Management)
  • Manage signage, uniforms, and additional inventory
  • Upskilling, performance management and training on-road staff
  • Conduct site and branch audits, manage monthly operation reports, and promote a strong safety culture
  • Incident Investigation
  • Lead an excellent team environment & customer service satisfaction
  • The ability to develop strong internal and external client relationships

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a Blue-Collar workforce
  • Previous experience in managing the expectations of various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated supervisory and/or training experience
  • Prior experience in a workplace where health and safety has been a key operational focus
  • Proven capacity for keeping a variety of tasks on stream and the ability to deliver against multiple timeframes
  • Advanced computer operations, clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to develop strong internal and external client relationships
