ABOUT THE ROLE

- Centre based and outreach to support clients with enduring mental health and psychosocial needs, living in the Greater Newcastle and Maitland areas.
A rewarding part time opportunity to partner with people to optimise their wellbeing and reach their potential by identifying unmet needs, reducing barriers to achieving individual goals and facilitating referral and linkage to clinical and non-clinical services in the primary care sector. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree qualifications and AHPRA or AASW accreditation
- Min. three years’ clinical experience
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of community based mental health services including care coordination, crisis intervention and/or assertive community treatment
- Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively engage with vulnerable people and diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously within a strong clinical governance framework
- Vaccinations as required in line with Hunter Primary Care policies
- Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance
