About the role

Our boutique childcare / pre-school centre seeks a full-time Certificate III educator to join our team in Berowra Heights.

As an Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children in our centre-based childcare facility.

What you'll be doing

• Implement the approved learning framework to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences to children.
• Observe, document and assess children's learning and development to inform program planning.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.
• Ensure a safe, clean and well-maintained learning environment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through active participation in team meetings and professional development

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Experience working in a similar childcare or early learning environment
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Flexible, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality care
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification

Our boutique centre runs for 3-6 year olds (we will introduce 2 year olds who are siblings in the future). It is a respected provider of early childhood education and care services in the Berowra Heights community. It has been so for the last 5 years.
