As a part-time Electronic Systems Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in the maintenance of critical electronics and instruments of the Army. You’ll get to apply your existing skillset and bring the experience of military equipment into your everyday role.
You’ll be responsible for equipment such as state-of-the art radios, optical instruments, and electronic surveillance systems.
Whether you’re performing safety inspections on specialist equipment, camouflaging vehicles, or manning defensive positions, you’ll be gaining leadership skills and practical knowledge to take back to your current full-time career.

The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax, and it increases as you gain seniority and experience.
On completion of your initial military and employment training, you could earn a package worth at least $240/day tax-free.
Additional amounts are paid for time spent on exercises and deployments.
Entry Requirements
For this role, you must be over 17 at time of enlistment and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics. You must also be an Australian citizen and able to successfully obtain a security clearance.
