Travel Required: You will have the opportunity to visit regional Queensland for client meetings, gaining exposure to diverse businesses and industries.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage external audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with Australian Auditing Standards
• Provide strategic financial insights and risk management recommendations to clients
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
• Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored audit responses for clients
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a strong and collaborative team culture
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Report audit findings and recommend process improvements to clients and stakeholders
• Travel to client sites across QLD as required

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 4+ years of external audit experience within Australia
• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and mentor junior team members
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with clients and present findings
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of accountability
• Willingness to travel regionally for client work
