The Role

We seek a part-time Resident Support & Services/bookkeeper to work onsite at our resort. The position reports to our Resort Manager and our Management Accountant and provides a varied scope of work. The Resident Support & Services is a vital role within our Henley Team, as is the face and front of house of the Henley. The purpose of the role is to maintain an unwavering commitment to outstanding service delivery, actively engaging with residents, families, and guests. Bookkeeping skills or willingness to learn, and some experience with MYOB or Xero, an advantage. We are looking for someone open to growing within the role, taking on more tasks, upskilling and evolving within the position. Someone who shows compassion and commitment is required for this position.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Front of house position, remaining calm under pressure, and operating with grace and care at all times
  • Introductory bookkeeping skills or willingness to learn. Experience with MYOB or Xero an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office equipment
  • Positive, caring attitude towards residents and team members
  • Experience in the senior living or hospitality industry is an advantage.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Greeting and addressing residents, families, guests and fellow team members courteously and with respect is an expectation at all times regardless of the request, issue or concern being raised.
  • Ensuring positive resident, family, and service provider relationships.
  • Assist the management of key services in the resort, which include administration, lifestyle & wellness of residents, cleaning, gardening, maintenance, and food services. Handle administrative tasks including filing, sorting mail, and data entry
  • Maintain resident records with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as processing invoices, billing, and maintaining financial records
