About the role

As a Retail Support Manager at Choice Discounts', you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Kingaroy store. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the retail industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in managing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to maximise productivity and sales
• Implement and monitor store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
• Assist in collaborating with regional and corporate teams to drive business growth and profitability

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in a retail management role
• Previous experience in Discount, Department store or Supermarkets is essential
• Strong merchandising skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Proficient in computer use
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
• Flexibility to work across the whole week as we are a 7 day trader
