About the role

This is a full-time Crane Truck Driver position based in Dandenong South, Victoria. As a Crane Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a crane truck to deliver and offload goods for Victorian Timber, a leading provider of high-quality timber products. Our customers are mostly residential builders.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating a crane truck to load, transport and unload goods at customer locations
• Conducting pre-operational checks to ensure the vehicle and equipment are in good working order
• Securing loads and operating the crane to offload goods at customer sites
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
• Providing excellent customer service and liaising with customers
• Adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
• Assisting with other duties as required to support the operations of the business

What we're looking for

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence and a valid CV Licence (optional)
• At least 2 years' experience as a Crane Truck Driver, with a proven track record of safe and efficient operation
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and regulations
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and promoting a positive safety culture
