About the Role

  • Maximum term (12 months) Full-time

Role Purpose

The Team Leader, Family Violence leads a team of specialist family violence practitioners to deliver high quality service to women and children who have experienced or are experiencing family violence.

Team Leaders may be required to carry a caseload of adult and children victim survivors at times. This role requires a good understanding of capacity management including leading a diverse range of crisis and brief to longer case management response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support plan and prioritise case work and the day-to-day delivery of services to adult and child victim survivors
  • Manage referrals coming though for a family violence response
  • Ensure the delivery of effective, high-quality services and outcomes to victim survivors through a range of interventions from crisis/brief to longer case management period
  • Provide high quality, strength based, reflective supervision to staff through individual and group responses
