An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and analytical individual to join our QC lab. HPLC experience essential, well organised with a focus on delivering high quality results.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Chemistry or equivalent with 3+ years hands on experience in a pharmaceutical environment. Attention to detail is paramount along with the commitment to follow principles of GMP. You will also have demonstrated experience in:-

  • Provide analytical support by carrying out testing of components, raw materials, initial, in-process with some finished product and stability samples according to the relevant specifications and procedures
  • Proven ability to undertake routine analysis of samples using HPLC/UPLC (Empower preferred).
  • Preparation of samples, reagents and standards in accordance to SOPs.
  • Support RM Evaluation and Validation programme.
  • Review testing specifications to ensure compliance to BP, USP specifications and best practices, initiate changes as required.
  • Perform and maintain the Laboratory instruments through calibration and regular maintenance of instruments as per requirements
  • Work safely according to procedures and site protocols with a proven understanding of adherence to WHS procedures.
  • Use appropriate safety equipment associated with the operations.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate positive collaborative outcomes.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a Pharmaceutical testing environment or similar role.
  • Relevant experience operating and maintaining HPLC instrumentation.
  • Sound documentation skills in accordance to in-house quality procedures.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
