Qualifications and Experience

Trade Qualifications: Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Electrician certification with substantial experience in mobile and fixed plant maintenance and diagnostics.

Administration in all aspects of mining operations

Heavy Mobile Plant and Wash Plant Experience: In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty equipment, including brands such as Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu, and similar.

Work Scoping Expertise: Proficient in detailing corrective maintenance tasks to aid in the effective planning and scheduling of repairs and service.

Mining Maintenance Expertise: Hands-on experience in mining maintenance environments, including extensive work with mining equipment and auxiliary machinery.

Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of mining-related equipment, including pumps, gensets, lighting plants, light vehicles, crushers, highway trucks, and trailers.

Safety and Risk Awareness: Strong understanding of risk management, hazard identification, and a deep commitment to workplace safety standards.

Communication Skills: Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information and collaborating within a team.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Ability: Strong ability to analyze technical issues, develop solutions, and resolve problems efficiently.

Teamwork and Independence: Able to work effectively in both independent and team settings, while ensuring tasks are prioritized and communicated with the department supervisor for alignment and task management
