About the role

Matchett Constructions is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our skilled team in Toowoomba, QLD. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will have the opportunity to learn valuable trade skills while contributing to the construction of high-quality residential and commercial projects. What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced carpenters in the construction and installation of various building components, such as framing, roofing, siding, and cabinetry
• Learning and applying techniques for measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other building materials
• Developing proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, as well as reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
