We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our talented team. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of light vehicles. As an integral part of our close-knit workshop, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are kept in peak condition.

What we're looking for someone who;

• Has formal qualification in light vehicle mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Must have AIS Safety Check Licence
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a light vehicle mechanic in a workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Has a valid drivers licence essential
• Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices

Duties include;

• Diagnose and repair a variety of light vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and wheel alignments
• Test and inspect vehicles to identify and rectify any issues
• Maintain detailed records of all work carried out
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with the training and mentoring of junior mechanics
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
