Currently, we are seeking applications from Licenced Electricians for a full-time permanent Field Service Electrician position based in the Blacktown area in Sydney. This role is with a leading global company who are at the cutting edge of stored energy solutions, UPS’s, utilities, switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics who work across various industrial sectors including Telecommunications, Transport, Logistics & Warehousing, Infrastructure and Mining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in the field undertake modification, assembly, installation, testing & commissioning, repair and maintenance of electrical networks, equipment, & components, controls, wiring systems and associated equipment
• Following blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications
• Ensuring undertaken works comply with Australian standards and industry requirements
• Working to customer specifications and time frames as arranged
• Compliance with relevant Workplace Health and Safety Legislation
• Accurate completion of documentation for QA and compliance records
• Liaise effectively with staff, contractors and members of the public in a professional manner
• Maintain skills and technical knowledge relevant to the role
• Compliance with company policies & procedures

Essential criteria includes:

• Current Electrical Contractors licence
• Current drivers licence
• Previous relevant experience in a field-service position
• Ability to work at Heights and relevant accreditation
• Ability to undertake overtime and local & interstate travel
• Experience in installing electrical conduits according to plans and specifications
• Previous experience in installing LV boards, air conditioning systems and PLC Control Systems
• Experienced in completion of documentation for compliance records
• Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic computer literacy with MS Office
• Strong prioritising, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Be willing to take direction
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with or without supervision
