About the role

Cafe Va Bene is looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team in Campbelltown. This is a casual position with the potential to lead to a full time position for the right candidate, offering flexible work hours to suit your lifestyle. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our bustling cafe.

What you'll be doing

• Taking and processing customer orders for food and beverages
• Providing friendly and attentive table service to customers
• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks.
• Ensuring the dining area and bar are kept clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system
• Reporting any issues or concerns to the manager on duty

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar customer service or hospitality role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner
• Excellent time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Barista experience and the ability to prepare high-quality coffee drinks
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience
