Are you a passionate music educator with a flair for innovation and a commitment to growth? We’re seeking a dynamic Primary Music Teacher Specialist who can creatively integrate the Australian Curriculum into every lesson while using engaging and inspiring pedagogical strategies to captivate young learners.
What You’ll Do:
- Innovate and Inspire: Develop and deliver creative, playful and inquiry-based music lessons that bring the Australian Curriculum to life. Blend traditional and contemporary pedagogical practices to engage and ignite student curiosity and creativity.
- Engage and Motivate: Cultivate an engaging, nurturing and inclusive classroom where students feel safe, supported and inspired to explore their musical potential.
- Curriculum Integration: Skilfully embed Australian Curriculum objectives into authentic and diverse musical projects, ensuring every lesson is both educational and inspiring.
- Collaborate and Create: Work collegially and with agency within a team of passionate music educators to design and implement diverse and immersive primary music curriculum experiences, including investigating opportunities for cross-curricular collaboration to integrate and enrich music learning experiences across the College.
- Interpret and Adapt: Analyse and respond to academic data with student-centred pedagogical practices, regularly evaluating teaching strategies and adapting to unique learning contexts in collaboration with pastoral and academic care team.

- Experienced & Qualified: Qualified teacher with a primary education background and a music specialisation.
- Creative and Engaging Teacher: Adept at designing innovative lesson plans integrating music with broader curriculum goals supported by research-based pedagogical strategies.
- Inspiring Communicator: Possess the ability to connect with students in a way that is both engaging and inspirational, fostering a passion for music and lifelong learning.
- Team Player: Collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive, progressive educational community.
