About the role

Armesto's Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our skilled team in Beerwah, Queensland. As a Boilermaker, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of metal structures and components. We are happy to offer fulltime employment or casual to suit our applicant.

Fulltime Employment: Monday to Friday, 7am till 4pm, Occasional Saturday might be required depending on workload. 40 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

• Utilizing various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components
• General Repair on Trailers including welding gates and trailer bodies
• Performing metal cutting, shaping, and fitting tasks using hand and power tools
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the timely and efficient completion
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Boiler making or a relevant trade
• Demonstrated experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role
• Proficiency in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Strong Structal steel experience
• Experience with welding stainless steel
• Strong problem-solving
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with the wider team
