Position Overview:
As a Steel Fixer, you will play a crucial role in our precast panel yard, where you will be responsible for the installation, reinforcement, and shaping of steel within concrete panels. Your work will contribute to the creation of durable and high-quality precast products used in construction projects.

Start Shift Time: - 6am Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications for reinforcement placement.
• Install steel reinforcement, including rebar, mesh, and other materials, within precast panels.
• Cut, bend, and tie steel bars to form reinforced cages or frames.
• Ensure that all work complies with safety standards, quality control procedures, and project timelines.
• Assist in the preparation of molds and formwork for precast concrete.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members, including concrete workers and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations in the yard.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, ideally in a precast concrete environment.
• Strong knowledge of steel reinforcement, rebar, and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work well within a team
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Previous experience working with precast panels is an advantage but not essential.
