The Bird & Bear group is currently recruiting for a passionate and capable Sous Chef at Foys Kirribilli, located within the iconic Sydney Flying Squadron. Foys is a members restaurant with the community as its heart. The menu is a diverse selection of premium a la carte, including grilled meats, fresh seafood and bistro classics. With daily specials and creativity encouraged, this is the perfect role for a Sous Chef looking to make a mark, or a Junior Sous Chef looking to step up.

This role reports to the Head Chef and works closely with the Group Executive Chef.

Key Requirements

· Working rights in Australia

· A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior position within a kitchen team

· Good English communication skills

· Must have Food Safety Supervisor certificate

· Basic financial knowledge including menu costings and stock management
