Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Beauty Therapist to join our growing team at Beyond Beauty Co. In this role, you'll provide exceptional beauty treatments and play a key part in the salon’s success. We're looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, a strong passion for the beauty industry, and the ability to manage a diverse range of treatments. As part of this position, you will also have the opportunity to manage the salon on selected days, taking your career to the next level. Days, times and amount of hours are flexible. Ideally you will be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at a minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a range of beauty treatments, including facials, massages, waxing, tinting, skin care consultations, body treatments, and advanced aesthetic services.
• Provide personalised advice to clients on skincare routines, beauty products, and treatment plans.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and professionalism within the salon.
• Mentor and support other therapists, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Assist with managing the salon’s daily operations, including appointment scheduling, client intake, and retail sales.
• Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, treatments, and technologies to provide cutting-edge services to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Handle product sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming and positive environment within the salon.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and treatments to see us advance in our field.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Beauty Therapist, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Relevant qualifications in beauty therapy (Cert IV or Diploma).
• Expertise in a wide range of beauty treatments, including facials, waxing, massage, tinting, and advanced skincare treatments.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products and the ability to recommend products based on individual client needs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for the beauty industry and staying up-to-date with trends and innovations.
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced aesthetic treatments (e.g., microdermabrasion, chemical peels, IPL treatments, LED therapy) is a plus.
• Experience with social media and marketing for the beauty industry is advantageous.
