About the role

The Engineer will be required to work with the Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and on schedule. The Engineer is the middleman between the Project Manager and Site Manager and must have the ability to communicate and negotiate between the PM, SM and the Client.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain control and distribute of all project documentation.
• Understand Project plans and Specifications
• Tracking variations
• Compile weekly project programming and required data for reporting
• Study Job Specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Coordinate and maintain inspection documentation for the project including ITP’s (quality)
• Assist project team with conflict resolution between Client, Contractor and Subcontractor
• Create, manage and track RFI’s from the field to the Client Engineer and communicate and record
• Conduct and document meetings/decisions
• Assists the project team with site safety documentation and coordination.
• Has an understanding of appropriate building codes/ regulations
• Procurement of materials
• Coordination of site logistics and delivery of materials
• Identify issues and work on resolutions
• Maintain and update project records

• Approving invoices for suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure safe working systems are complied with

Qualifications and requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Form Reo Pours in the civil infrastructure space.
