ABOUT THE COMPANY.

A Civil Contractor based in Western Sydney, close to Eastern Creek is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer. Due to an increase in workload, the organisation has decided to split the HR & Payroll Officer position into two separate functions. Hence, you will receive hands-on support from the previous incumbent.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

Part-time Permanent opportunity. Immediate start. You will be involved in the end-to-end payroll processing of 150 employees. Working hours will be negotiable and this position will be based in the office. Parking available on-site.

DUTIES.

• Process payroll functions (end-to-end)
• Process payroll for permanent, temporary and casual staff
• Calculations, taxation and reconciliations as required
• Responding to complicated payroll enquiries from employees
• Award interpretation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Minimum 3-4 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Experience in the construction industry (high preferred)
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency using an advanced payroll system
• Experienced and comfortable with manual processing & overtime calculations

REMUNERATION.

$75,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation
