Our client based at Gloucester requires a Farmhand/ General hand with a genuine passion to work in the poultry industry and who enjoys working on farms in the beautiful Barrington Coast Hinterlands.

We are looking for candidates that are committed to long term employment and are flexible with their availability.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Working with live chickens daily
• Daily egg collections
• Food and water checks
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and sheds
• Adhoc farm tasks as required.
• Manual handing, shoveling, physical work

To be successful in the role you must.

• Not own or have regular contact with Birds, Pigs and Chickens
• Be reliable and have a positive attitude to work.
• Adhere to all Bio-Security requirements on site
• Able to do Shifts starting @ 6.30am
• Be available for additional hours as required.
• Be happy to get your hands dirty
• Have a strong work ethic
• Steel cap work boots
• Have a current licence and reliable transport.
• Have an understanding of the importance of WHS.
• Be prepared to work as part of a team.
• Currently living in the Mid-Coast region
