About the Role:

We are seeking qualified Early Childhood teachers and Diploma level Educators for our Long Day Care Service based in Lane Cove. In this role you will:

• Contribute, in consultation with the Children, Educational Leader, Team Members & Families, to developing weekly programs appropriate to the individual needs and interests of the children
• Maintain the necessary Administration, Programming, child developmental records of children, and the curriculum, as required.
• Assist in the observation and evaluation of the children's programs and their individual development.
• Assist with the implementation of daily routines.
• Positively interact with the children, giving each child individual and appropriate attention as required.
• Ensure that children are at all times adequately supervised and Educator ratios are maintained.
• Form comforting and nurturing relationships with the children.
• Assist with providing a safe, healthy and welcoming environment, maintaining at all times an anti-bias, non-judgmental and confidential service to all children.
• Work effectively in a team environment.

About You

We are seeking candidates who are a qualified Early Childhood Educator (Bachelor Degree, Masters Degree, Certificate III and Diploma level). You will also need to have:

• Previous experience in Childcare, and working with children in the 0-5 year age range.
• A current working with Children’s Check
• A current First Aid and CPR qualification (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma)
• A current qualification in Identifying and responding to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001)
