At Chalkys Espresso Bar , We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef to join our team. In this role -w e are open breakfast & lunch, you will collaborate closely with our Head Chef to ensure a seamless kitchen operation, focusing on delivering exceptional cuisine. Your responsibilities will include setting up the kitchen for efficient food production, mastering all recipes, ensuring timely and efficient cooking, presenting dishes attractively, providing guidance to fellow cooks when necessary, upholding health and safety standards, and adhering to our kitchen policies and procedures.
Salary depending on experience and position. Paid for every hour you work. Always! 5 days on 2 days off roster available for full timers

Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role for snr positions.
* Proficiency in hygiene and food safety standards.
* Familiarity with standard procedures and policies related to food preparation, receiving, preservation, freezing, and storage of food products.
* Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
* A commitment to maintaining a high level of service.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with the kitchen team, front-of-house staff, and management.
* Understanding of food costing and stock management.

Chalkys Espresso Bar Fremantle, Operates seven days a week, from 6 am until 2 pm.
Must be available on weekends & Flexibility available if needed occasionally weekend off.
