The department:
Smaller APS agency, centrally located, focused on sport related functions.

The roles:
APS 6 and EL1 level payroll officers, for a labour hire contract until 30 September 2025, initially.

These roles will support key payroll projects specifically relating to complex payroll calculations and remediation of any overpayments.

The Person:
To be successful for either of these roles you must have:

EL1:

• Extensive experience with complex payroll calculations, particularly in underpayment calculations and superannuation audits.
• Expert Aurion payroll system working knowledge.
• Experience interpreting relevant employment and superannuation legislation and policies.
• Demonstrated experience managing large datasets, using excel.
• Report writing skills, particularly in presenting payroll-related findings and recommendations.

APS6:

• Experience with complex payroll calculations, particularly in underpayment calculations and superannuation audits.
• Proficiency in using the Aurion payroll system.
• Strong knowledge and experience interpreting relevant employment and superannuation legislation and policies.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, managing large datasets.
• Demonstrated high-level customer service and effective communication by email, letters and phone calls.

All candidates must hold a:

• A Baseline Security Clearance.
• An Australian Capital Territory Working with Vulnerable People Licence.

Hourly rates range between $65-$90 plus super per hour
