Labourer – Staircase Deliveries

Location: Croydon Depot
Casual | Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00/2:30 PM
$30 - $35 per hour
Physical, hands-on role assisting with staircase deliveries

About the Role:

Our client is a leading specialist in designing, manufacturing, and installing timber staircases for some of Australia's biggest builders. They are seeking a Labourer to assist with the delivery and unloading of flat-pack staircases across Melbourne. This role requires someone physically fit, reliable, and ready to start early mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with loading and unloading staircases (up to 20kg)
• Travelling with the delivery driver to job sites across Melbourne
• Manual handling and ensuring safe transportation of goods
• Following safety procedures and handling products with care
• General labouring duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg regularly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently
• Previous labouring, construction, or warehouse experience (preferred)

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (preferred but not required)
• Steel-capped boots & hi Vis
• Reliable transport to the warehouse for early starts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
