As our General Manager, you will be the driving force behind achieving these goals.

You will be responsible for:

Leading and Inspiring our Team: Building, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team. You'll foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent.

Cultivating a Thriving Culture: Shaping and nurturing a culture of excellence, innovation, and genuine hospitality. You'll be responsible for driving employee engagement and championing our commitment to providing exceptional experiences.

Securing Financial Profitability: Overseeing all aspects of the club's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and revenue generation. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and implementing strategies to maximise profitability.

Engaging the Community: Building strong relationships with local sporting organisations, community groups, and residents. You'll be the face of the club within the community, actively participating in events and initiatives to enhance our reputation and build goodwill.

Strategic Management: Developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the club's vision and goals. You'll be responsible for monitoring industry trends and adapting the club's operations to meet changing market demands.

Operational Excellence: Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all aspects of the club, including food and beverage, entertainment, facilities maintenance, and member services. You will oversee all facets of the Club.

Compliance & Governance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices, including Responsible Service of Alcohol, gaming regulations, and workplace health and safety.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality or club industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • A passion for building relationships and engaging with the community.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • An understanding of the challenges and opportunities specific to the Northern Territory hospitality market (preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (desirable).
  • Sound understanding of employment law and HR practices.
