About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join the team at Newpark Tavern in Girrawheen, Western Australia. As a full-time Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the venue, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the overall operations of the venue, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing and health and safety regulations
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Provide leadership and support to the front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Assist with rostering, training, and development of staff
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Liaise with other departments and managers to coordinate activities and address any issues

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with customers
• Sound knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and health and safety requirements
• Proficient in using relevant software and technology to manage operations
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
