You'll deliver an $8m, 4 level Apartments project with on grade parking, based centrally on the Gold Coast.

The Role

• Design Management and project planning
• Work closely with internal Design team to achieve outcomes
• Client management and engagement to a high level
• Develop and manage a well-resourced project team
• Management of head contract claims, extensions, variations
• Construction methodology
• Take ownership of the project from the outset, managing the design phase and overseeing procurement before leading construction
• Drive the programme and achieve or exceed project deadlines
• Provide accurate & detailed reports, utilizing Procore
• Build a strong relationship with the management team

The Person

• Proven track record delivering similar type projects as a PM ($5m-$20m) for T2/T3 Builders OR a Snr CA looking for an opportunity to PM level
• Procore expertise - highly desirable
• Dynamic and outcomes-focused
• Proactive, forward-thinking approach and ability to drive stakeholders and subbies to maintain progress and programme
• A genuine team player who is eager to develop and grow as a PM and a person
• Will suit someone with a passion for systems and fully utilising its capability
• Excellent contract knowledge and management of head contract claims, variations, EOT etc.
• Proven track record of managing projects and teams from initial design and project set up through to a successful completion
• Strong building knowledge, up-to-date with the latest construction methodology and well-developed problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage their own workflow in a D&C procurement and delivery and maintain accuracy and proficiency
• Relationship-driven approach to managing subbies
• Design and approval process appreciation preferred
• Understanding the “business of building” with strong commercial acumen
• Leader of a small but nimble delivery team supported by Management and Design team.

The Package

• Immediate interview & start pending notice period
• Up to $200,000 package PAYG OR Contract - hourly/day/ weekly rate for duration of the project (12 months)
