As we continue to grow and innovate, we're looking for a Functions & Events Coordinator Manager to join our team. This key role will be at the heart of driving operational excellence and growth across all venues, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our customers while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Functions and Events Manager to oversee functions and events, assist in day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives to increase event performance across our venues. You will be responsible for a number of key areas of the business, providing an excellent opportunity for a results-driven individual who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Salary is open to negotiation based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functions & Events: Lead the coordination of events and functions across the group, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service.
- Business Development & Strategy: Develop and implement initiatives to drive business growth, including identifying opportunities to increase customer engagement, sales, and market share.
- Customer Relationship Management: Encourage the team to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring an exceptional experience at all times.
- Local Business Partnerships: Foster relationships and engage directly with local businesses and organizations to drive collaborative marketing opportunities, cross-promotions and avenues for function sales.
- Marketing & Promotion: Oversee local marketing strategies to drive functions.
- In-Venue Presence: Oversee local and in-venue marketing initiatives and maintain presence in the venue, supporting floor and bar staff during service as and when required.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in business development and/or functions & events co-ordination, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management, staff, customers, and local businesses.
- A passion for the hospitality industry, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for operational excellence.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of wines & beverages imperative.
- Barista experience highly desirable.
- In-venue hospitality experience preferred.
Requirements
