About the role
The Concourse Facility Officer will work closely with the Building Supervisor and other stakeholders to ensure that the facility is maintained and operated effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing building maintenance, contractor management, and general facility operations.
This role will require flexibility and the ability to manage a wide variety of tasks efficiently. The Facility Officer will need to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during events, while maintaining the high operational standards of The Concourse.
Daily tasks will include supervising service contractor’s whilst they conduct essential work, manage car park operations and loading docks/zones, assist in event set up’s, and undertake building repairs when required.
Requirements
- Related Trade Qualifications or extensive property maintenance experience
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in the supervision of service contractors
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the use of general property maintenance tools and equipment such as power tools, blower vacs, high powered cleaning equipment, etc.
- An appropriate level of fitness
- The ability to use Outlook and Excel Computer software
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Ability to organise plant and material on daily basis
- The ability to carry out duties safely and conduct basis risk assessments
- Awareness of and commitment to the principles of Work Health and Safety (WH&S) and a commitment to attend relevant training.

Desirable Criteria
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Completion of the OH&S Construction Induction Training Certificate
