About the role

Link-Force Au' is seeking a skilled Banker stone mason for a contract position in Sydney, NSW. As a Banker stone mason, you will be responsible for meticulously crafting and finishing stone elements for a variety of construction and masonry projects. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your specialised stone masonry expertise and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

What you'll be doing

• Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to create precise stone elements
• Use hand and power tools to expertly shape, carve, and finish stone materials
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure stone work meets design requirements
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
• Complete stonework tasks in a timely manner to support project schedules
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as required

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in stonemasonry or a related trade
• Extensive experience as a Banker stone mason, with a portfolio of high-quality work
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical plans and specifications
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools common to the stonemasonry trade
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work area
