Ayan Infotech urgently needs an SAP FI/CO Lead to take up an initial 3-month rolling contract in Melbourne. The SAP FI/CO Lead will be working on a support project where they are responsible for managing an offshore support team of 4 consultants.

This contract will provide the opportunity to work in a large-scale enterprise IT environment with a highly experienced and competent global IT delivery team. Our client invests millions of dollars in their IT environment, which will allow the contractor to work with the latest releases to what technology offers.

Description:

• Provide day-to-day support to Capgemini clients for SAP Finance & Controlling on S/4HANA and sometimes on SAP ECC, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of SAP enhancements and upgrades.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP best practices and industry trends.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Finance and Controlling Solutions to Capgemini clients - with a focus on Fixed Assets.
• Play a leading role in projects with strong client exposure and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Act as a functional expert for SAP S/4HANA fixed assets, responsible for functional and technical guidance over the whole project or application lifecycle.
• Work within the Capgemini team to perform configuration within relevant finance process areas.
• Lead business process workshops and interact well with clients to understand their business, and develop solutions based on business and technical knowledge.
• Work with business process owners, architects, and business SMEs to develop the To-Be business processes and integration with SAP and non-SAP applications in the client system landscape.

Experience needed:

• Minimum of 10+ years' experience in SAP Finance consulting.
• SAP Finance and Controlling experience from a support perspective (project experience is a plus).
• Experience with both waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies.
• Experience working with offshore teams.
• Overall financial accounting experience.
• Proven track record demonstrating strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and lead your domain.
• At least 4+ years of experience in a similar SAP FICO Consultant position with a large end user base or SAP Partners
• In-depth subject matter expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance - Fixed Assets, understanding of other SAP Finance modules, and FICO integration points to other modules such as PP, SD, MM.
• Previous experience working on large scale SAP Implementations, with at least two full end-to-end SAP Implementations including S/4 HANA experience (On Premise or Public Cloud).
• Communication skills both written and verbal, including documentation skills.
• Stakeholder management skills.
