We are one of Australia’s largest prestige rental vehicle providers of casual rentals and accident replacement vehicle. We provide a national exceptional service and assistance to people who have been involved in a motor vehicle accident and require a rental car.

Due to considerable growth of the business we require the addition of a driver to deliver and pick up Prestige vehicles to clients and carry out vehicle inspection reports.

Job brief

We are looking for a Driver to transport our prestige vehicles to our clients in a safe and timely manner. The role will include delivering and collecting vehicles from our clients where they will proceed to carry out a vehicle inspection and completing rental agreements among other related day-to-day duties.
Driver responsibilities include planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and managing deliveries. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients are satisfied for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles.

Driver responsibilities include:

• Drive prestige vehicles to the clients
• Maintaining safe driving practices
• Using navigation apps to determine the best route
• Previous experience in car rental/hire or fleet management - highly desirable
• Motor Vehicle Hire knowledge/experience- highly desirable.
• Knowledge/Experience of credit hire (accident replacement vehicles) industry- desirable.
• Knowledge of the car insurance and repair industry- highly desirable.
• A polite and professional disposition - important
• Competent computer skills - important
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
• Report any issues with our vehicles
• Carry out vehicle inspection reports
• Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A full valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods around Melbourne and surrounding area.
• Availability to occasionally take Saturday work.
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
