Are you an qualified hairdressing Trainer & Assessor with a passion for education and training? Ivory Institute is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hairdresser Trainer to teach and mentor students and equip them with the skills and knowledge needed for success in the hairdressing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to students in alignment with industry standards and training packages.
• Develop and maintain training and assessment materials in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
• Provide hands-on practical demonstrations and theoretical lessons to enhance student learning.
• Ensure training practices are relevant and up to date by engaging with industry professionals.
• Assess, mark, and grade student assessments and tasks.
• Monitor and support student progress, ensuring they achieve learning objectives.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Certificate III or above in Hairdressing.
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
• Full Australian work rights.
• Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and foster supportive staff and student relationships.
• Ability to work on the salon floor as needed.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and compliance standards.
