Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator Dayshift Permanent

Permanent Position / Thomastown

Must have warehouse / Forklift experience

Dayshift 8am to 4pm and Overtime Available

Hourly rate $35 plus

If successful for the position you must agree and be willing to complete pre-employment checks including National Police check and Medical Assessment.

And provide the company with a copy of your birth certificate and or passport for identification

Our client specialises in defence, aerospace and commercial related processing and surface coatings. A rare opportunity has arisen to join their dayshift operations.

Experience and Skills Required

• Experience in counterbalance LF / Gas
• Picking and Packing goods
• Experience in Despatching / Receiving / inwards and outwards goods
• Stock inventory and control
• Able to process consignment notes
• RF Scanning
• Delivery of parts to their parent company
• MUST have a Car Licence
• Strong computer skills
• MUST want to do over time
• Someone to bring in new ideas to the company

To be successful you must have the following

• Previously work in a warehouse environment / forklift driving
• Strong command of the English language both written and verbal
• Willing to learn new tasks and upskills / career opportunity
• High attention to detail and excellent hand eye co-ordination
• Able to read and follow verbal and written instructions
• You must be a quick learner
