Talent International is working in partnership with a major utilities business to assist in sourcing a Project Manager on contract based in Western Sydney

The successful Project Manager will be required to implement a business critical and high profile EAM / Digital Field Services Management solution across the business.

Key deliverables for the role

• You will be tasked with leading a team to produce a Business Case that will be presented to Board, setting the scene for what is expected to be a multiyear program of work.
• Opportunity to build the project team and approach that leads future state design, software selection, integration partner selection and ultimately the solution implementation over the coming years.
• Project is an executive level priority. You will be generating and presenting monthly SteerCo packs to an Executive SteerCo consisting of all C-Level leaders across the Group

In order to be considered we are seeking skilled Project Managers who can demonstrate the following

• 10+ years delivering medium to high complexity projects along with experience as a Project Manager within the utilities sector
• Experience implementing a large-scale field services solution, along with a solid understanding of asset management concepts
• Demonstrated experience in managing several projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize based on business needs.
• Leading the development of plans and budget to ensure that the organisation has appropriately skilled resources to meet Project(s) objectives and commitments. Reviewing the ongoing success and contributes to improvements of the resource management processes.
• High degree of financial discipline managing to approved project budgets and ensuring all project costs are tracked and reported. Maintain a forecast of expected costs to completion.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of high quality project artefacts/documents such as project plan, presentations/reports for project steering committee and other governance/management forums
