About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to improve access to multidisciplinary mental health and alcohol and other drugs treatment and care for adolescents and young adults aged 12-25 years presenting to headspace with more complex mental health needs. The roles in this team will improve integration between headspace sites and MNMH services by providing consultation, clinical advice, on-site specialist care and treatment; and streamlined transition of adolescents and young adults between the two organisations based on clinical need.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high level MHAOD care in shared care with headspace staff and/or direct therapeutic and recovery-focussed and trauma informed interventions. This may include individual, group and/or telehealth activities.
- Provide definitive clinical advice and professional advocacy to senior management with respect to issues affecting clinical service delivery and the delivery of profession specific services within the health service.
- Contribute to service improvement, evaluation and/ or research activities undertaken as part of HCIT implementation and review.
