Your Role
Our team requires a Clinical Nurse who understands and drives person-centred care. As Clinical Nurse you will be assisting in setting clinical standards that reflect best practice, and assisting clinical employees to improve skills and knowledge through leadership and direction.
The person we are looking for should have advanced nursing skills to provide appropriate supervision, along with a variety of specialist skills and passion in the following areas:
- Continence management
- Wound care
- Medication management
Your tasks will include:
- Co-ordinate and provide comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection, referral and health promotion
- Co-ordinate and regularly evaluate the effects of care provided through planner reviews and assessment, or as required, in consultation with client, carer and multidisciplinary team
- Participate and initiate community collaborations and partnerships that contribute to client care services
- Provide support and direction to Registered Nurses

Role Requirements
- Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated application of advanced level clinical and problem solving skills
- Prior community nursing experience will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer software in the delivery of care services
