About the role

Subterra Civil is seeking a skilled CCTV Pipeline Inspection Operator to join our team. The succesful candidate will be responsible for inspecting underground utilities with a CCTV Crawler and providing defect repairs as required. As a key member of our Construction team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the continued quality and functionality of critical utility networks.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain CCTV inspection equipment to assess the condition of underground pipelines and infrastructure
• Identify any defects, damages or blockages in pipelines and document findings in detailed reports via WinCan
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop tailored solutions to address identified issues
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety, quality and environmental standards
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and calibration of CCTV equipment
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a CCTV Pipeline Inspection Operator, preferably within the construction or utilities industry
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of CCTV inspection equipment and processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to accurately identify pipeline issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in pipeline inspection, construction or a related field
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
