About the role

As the Restaurant Manager at Longview Cottesloe, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience. This is a full-time role based in Cottesloe WA 6011.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and motivate the restaurant team, including servers, chefs and hosts, to deliver outstanding customer service
• Oversee all front-of-house operations, including table management, reservations, and customer relations
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and profitability of the restaurant
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standard
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback, and implement appropriate solutions
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and provide coaching and training to staff

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost analysis
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, industry trends, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
