Hobart Private Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join both our Perioperative ward and Cath Lab, in the Anaesthetics and Recovery teams to help shape what high quality and safe care looks like for our surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare patients for surgery, prepare anaesthesia equipment, assist in anaesthesia administration
• Provide patient care and recovery and monitor vital signs post-op
• Provide evidence based care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and support your team members to deliver family centred care
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their care

Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Working with Children check
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope - Tasmania -Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2021-2024, a salary ranging from $36.88 to $49.37 per hour.
