About Us

Australian Electronics & Metals is a sheet metal manufacturing company based in Wangara where sheet metal products, typically cabinets, are punched/laser cut, bent, welded, powder coated and assembled for various industries.

The Role

A full time trades assistant is required to work Monday - Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $30-$38 an hour with overtime available on request and an early finish of Fridays.

Responsibilities include:

  • Grinding
  • Orbital Sanding
  • Operating CNC machinery
  • Assembling cabinets and other sheet metal products
  • Wrapping, and palletizing products

About You

  • Experience grinding and sanding
  • A forklift license is an advantage, but not a necessity
  • Working rights in Australia
